报告简介： This study investigates the growth trend of trade flows through intermediations in China. We find that after China’s WTO accession, trade flows through carry-along firms increase substantially. In contrast, trade flows through intermediaries sharply decrease. We develop a matching model, in which each firm (producer) endogenously select their exporting mode: direct exporting, exporting through carry-along firms, or intermediaries, to rationalize the differential patterns for carry-along and intermediary trade.
报告人简介：谭用博士毕业于美国范德堡大学，一直致力于国际贸易方向研究。研究方向聚焦于用动态结构模型将异质性贸易理论从比较静态研究拓展到动态均衡。主要研究成果发表于International Economic Review, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Review of International Economics, World Economy, International Review of Economics and Finance, 世界经济等国内外顶级期刊。
